Yongtu is a wonderful Korean boy with authentic traditional costumes who was sold in 1969 as one of the Dolls of Far Off Lands series by P&M Co. The handsome paper doll is printed on laminated cardboard and is 9-1/2" tall with two dots of red ink on his body. He comes with three robes, one of which reflects Korean ritual, ceremonial dress. All his clothing is colorful and in very good condition.

As an educational paper doll, Yongtu was created to enlighten American children to international cousins and customs. He still achieves that function, and may be best appreciated by adult collectors of unusual paper dolls or vintage items of Korean heritage. Consider framing Yongtu and his wardrobe as a unique and fabulous decor piece.
